Mr.
Keith Cameron, CD, MA, BEng, BEd, OCT.
Mr. Cameron comes to ICS following 20 years'
service in the Canadian Forces. He served as a
military engineering officer, retiring at the
rank of Major, with extensive experience in
training, administration and leadership, within
Canada and overseas. He is qualified in general
science in the junior and intermediate
divisions, and holds an additional qualification
in special education. Mr. Cameron is passionate
about strengthening Christian education as a
precious gift for our children, and in the
furtherance of His kingdom. Called into
Christian education in 2010, he has served as
ICS' principal and Chief Operating Officer since
2011. He also teaches on a rotary schedule.

Mr.
Evert TenBruggencate, BA, BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Mr
TenBruggencate has over 30 years teaching
experience. He is qualified in science and
physical education at the Junior and
Intermediate level. He holds additional
qualifications as a special education
specialist, and in visual arts. He particularly
enjoys participating in endurance activities
such as marathon running and triathlons. Mr
TenBruggencate serves as the Vice Principal, and
teaches grades 7 and 8.

Mrs.Sheryle Drop, BA, BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Mrs. Drop has over 18 years of teaching
experience, She is qualified in the primary and
junior divisions, and holds additional
qualifications in French and computers. She is
enthusiastic about teaching students in the
light of God's word. Mrs. Drop currently teaches
grade 5 and 6, as well as grades 7 and 8 rotary,

Ms. Tine Buma, BA,
BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Ms. Buma has
over 32 years of teaching experience, 23 at ICS.
She is qualified in the primary, junior and
intermediate divisions. She holds additional
qualifications as a special education specialist
and a reading specialist. She enjoys playing
guitar, and weaving early morning devotions,
scripture and song, across the curriculum and
throughout the day. She is thrilled to be able
to partner with parents and make a difference in
the lives of young children. Ms. Buma currently
teaches grades 3 and 4.

Ms.
Marianne Pieters, BA, BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Ms. Pieters has over 33 years of teaching
experience. She is qualified in the primary,
junior and intermediate divisions. She holds
additional qualifications in computers, physical
education, reading, mathematics, and special
education. It brings her great delight to be a
Christian educator. What a privilege to be able
to teach God's truths in each lesson, each day,
each week, from one generation to the next. Ms.
Pieters currently teaches grades 1 and 2.

Mrs.
Ina Groeneweg, Kindergarten Teacher Akte A,
Kindergarten Principle.
Mrs.
Groeneweg has over 17 years of teaching
experience, 12 at ICS. Mrs. Groeneweg is
qualified as a Kindergarten teacher in the
European system, which has been recognized by
the credentials committee of the Christian
School Teachers' Association. Mrs. Groeneweg is
excited to nurture, train and teach children to
be disciples of Christ. Mrs. Groeneweg currently
teaches Junior and Senior Kindergarten.

Mrs.
Tilda VanderHoek, BA, BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Mrs.
VanderHoek has over 24 years of teaching
experience. She is qualified in the primary,
junior and intermediate divisions. She holds
additional qualifications in French, reading,
and special education. Mrs VanderHoek believes
each child has been uniquely created by God and
is of great worth. She feels blessed to have the
opportunity to work with some of God’s children.
It is her passion that all children are able see
themselves as valuable students. It is also her
desire to challenge the students to discover and
develop their unique God-given gifts and
abilities for service to God and their
community. Mrs. VanderHoek currently teaches
Resource and grades 5 to 8 rotary.

Mrs.
Nancy Robinson, BA, BEd, CSTC, OCT.
Mrs. Robinson
has over 10 years of teaching experience, as
well as experience as a public librarian. She
has served as long-time ICS librarian, and as
interim principal from 2008 – 2011. She is
qualified in the primary and junior divisions,
and holds an additional qualification in
librarianship. She feels blessed to work in this
Christian community, sharing her joy of reading
with children and working to make connections
between children and books as they expand their
world and find their way along the path God is
leading them. Mrs Robinson is currently the ICS
librarian.

Marie Smit, Administrative Assistant.
Mrs. Smit has
served as ICS' administrative assistant since
1990. She is excited and energized by people,
and loves to work with our staff, students,

The Cotos
have served as ICS' janitorial team since 2010.
They find joy in their service, maintaining our
facility at a high standard of repair and
