Transportation
I.C.S. school buses cover an area ranging from Tillsonburg to Yarmouth Centre to
Port Bruce to Harrietsville, Belmont and points in between.
Efforts are made to provide transportation to all students. However, there are
occasions when parents are asked to drive to make a bus connection on an
established route.
Transportation is provided by several busses owned and operated by our school
society. Our buses meet at Immanuel or at other designated pick up points so
that our high school bus can then travel on to London with students attending
London District Christian Secondary School.It is expected that every student will behave responsibly, not only while
traveling on a school bus, but at pick up and transfer points as well as these
are extensions of the school's governance. While being transported or waiting at
transfer points or waiting on the premises of any other school, each student is
responsible to the principal of that school for his/her conduct. All students
riding ICS buses are subject to the rules and regulations outlined in our parent
handbook and in related material regardless of the school they attend.
Cancellations
In the case of inclement weather, school bus delays and school closures will
follow the decision made by the Thames Valley District School Board. Parents
will be informed of this decision through the use of the Bus Transportation
Communications List or by listening to Q97.5.
